Export data from Parature

Export data from Parature

By using the Export Tool, you can export the following data from your Parature system:Accounts, Customers, Ticket data, Phone Calls and Notes, Tasks, Products, Emails, and Knowledgebase References.All data will be exported as a Comma Separated file (CSV), which can be opened in Microsoft Excel, or any other program which supports CSV format.

 

To export data, follow these instructions:

 

  1. In the Setup tab, expand the Data Management menu.
  2. Click the Export Data option.
  3. Select the Module with the data you wish to export and follow the instructions for that Module.

 

  • Accounts: The Accounts field displays your total number of Accounts in the Account module.

 

  1. Click the Export to CSV option to export your Account records to a CSV file.

 

  • Customers: The Customers field displays your total number of Customers in Customer module.

 

  1. Select whether you want to export All Customers (in alphabetical order), Last Visited Customers, or Last Modified Customers.
  2. Select a date range.
  3. Click the Export to CSV option to export your Customer records to a CSV file.

 

  • Phone Calls and Notes: To export Phone Calls and Notes, first select which item you would like to export and for what module, Accounts or Customers.

 

  1. Select a date range.
  2. Check the Remove HTML check box to remove HTML from the data.
  3. Click the Export to CSV option to export your data.

 

  • Tickets: The Tickets field displays the number of Tickets you have in your Ticket module, including Archived Tickets

 

  1. Select whether you wish to export Ticket Details or Ticket History.
  2. Choose a date range. If you have a large number of Tickets, it is a good idea to export the files in smaller chunks.
  3. Select if you wish to remove HTML from your export by checking the Remove HTML from Details/History check box.
  4. Click the Export to CSV option to export your data.

 

  • Tasks: The Tasks field displays the total number of Tasks in your organization's Task scheduler.

 

  1. In the Export field, select the appropriate check box to export either Task Details or Task History.
  2. In the Date Range field, select the appropriate From and To dates, or select the All Tasks check box if you want to export all of the Tasks in your organization's Task scheduler.
  3. Select the Remove HTML from Details/History check box if you would like to remove HTML from your export.
  4. Click the Export to CSV option to export your data.

 

  • Products: This field displays the total number of Products in your Product Module.

 

  1. In the Export field, select the appropriate check box to export either Product Catalogue or Product Owners and Values.
  2. In the Date Range field, select the appropriate From and To dates, or select the All check box if you want to export all of the Products.
  3. Click the Export to CSV option to export your data.

 

  • Emails: This field displays the total number of Email messages in the Email Module.

 

  1. Click the Export to CSV option to export your Email messages to a CSV file.

 

  • Knowledgebase References: This field displays the total number of References in your Knowledgebase, including those in your Inbox and Trash.

 

  1. Select the Cut Off References to a MS Excel friendly length (8K) check box to keep your references at a length compatible with Microsoft Excel.
  2. Click the Export to CSV option to export your Knowledgebase references to a CSV file.
